He said that sustaining this cooperation would ensure accomplishing more achievements that serve citizens and the country. The Shura Council will exert maximum effort as it always has to pass legislations that should ensure more national gains, he said.

Speaking during a meeting with the Representatives’ Council Chairman Khalifa Ahmed Al Dhahrani, Al Saleh said the two councils progressed in a complimentary pattern that achieved the sought after legislative balance as stated by the constitution and the national action charter.

The collaboration of the efforts of the Members of the Representatives and Shura Councils has proven effective during the previous sessions as they exhibited keenness on achieving national accomplishments on various levels, he said.

The chairmen of the two councils also reviewed the preparations for the opening of the third session which will be attended by His Majesty the King, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The meeting also reviewed a number of local and international issues and topics.
