PM lauds outgoing French envoy

Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday received French Ambassador Malika Berak whose tenure in the Kingdom has ended.

Shaikh Khalifa hailed Berak’s efforts in bolstering Bahrain-France relations and wished her success and luck in future. The premier asked the outgoing envoy to convey his greetings to French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Prime Minister Francois Fillon.

Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh also received Berak and hailed her efforts in strengthening relations and cooperation between the two countries.

He also hailed her efforts in bolstering parliamentary ties and expressed Bahrain’s keenness to further develop relations, and wished the ambassador success in her future assignments.

Berak thanked Al Saleh and parliamentarians for cooperation during her tenure and wished Bahrain further progress and its people every prosperity.
